Sabrina Saenz is a second-year law student who will graduate in May 2027. She was born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley. Sabrina earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Texas State University in 2019 and her Master of Arts in Legal Studies in 2021.
In addition to serving as a staff member for Volume 58 of the Texas Tech Law Review, Sabrina is actively involved in several student organizations: Phi Delta Phi, OUTLaw, Tech National Lawyers Guild, Hispanic Law Students Association, Organization of Women Law Students, Environmental Law Society, and Family Law Society.
Prior to law school, Sabrina gained valuable legal experience as a case clerk and later junior paralegal at Scott Douglass & McConnico LLP, a boutique litigation firm in Austin, Texas. She went on to work as a business immigration paralegal for Ogletree Deakins and Graham Adair, Inc.
During her 1L summer, Sabrina interned at the Hidalgo County District Attorney’s Office, where she edited appellate briefs and supported assistant district attorneys in various capacities. She also worked at Carranza Law Firm, PLLC, where she assisted with family cases from intake through resolution.
In her free time, Sabrina enjoys baking, listening to podcasts, traveling, and spending time with her friends, partner, and two cats.
