Sara Thornton

Sara C. Thornton is a 3L J.D. Candidate graduating in May 2016. She is from Aledo, Texas and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with double minors in Spanish and Business Administration from the University North Texas in Denton, Texas. Prior to attending law school, she worked in international sales for a North Texas media and production company. She serves as the Managing Editor of the Law Review and will be a Qualified Mediator in the ADR Clinic this spring. She is also a member of Phi Delta Phi and the Federalist Society.

Sara is interested in local government and state legislation, corporate law, and real estate law. Her experience includes volunteering with the Texas Civil Rights Project and clerking for the Federal Trade Commission—Dallas Office; Tarrant County Judicial Staff Council; Nelson & Nelson Attorneys in Lubbock, Texas; and the Washington Legal Foundation in Washington, D.C.
