Theresa Golde
Theresa is a 3L J.D. Candidate graduating in May 2016. Originally from Glendale, California, she moved to Austin, Texas, where she attended St. Edward’s University. She graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication.
Currently, Theresa serves as a Comment Editor for Volume 48 of the Texas Tech Law Review. She is also a Research Assistant for Professor Humphrey and is externing this semester at Texas Tech’s Office of the General Counsel. During her 2L year, Theresa participated in the law school’s ADR Clinic, where she became a trained mediator and worked for Lubbock County’s Office of Dispute Resolution. Part of the summer of her 2L year, Theresa studied abroad through the law school’s Lithuania Summer Law Program. Additionally, prior to law school, Theresa worked as a legal intern for the Texas State Board of Pharmacy, a legislative intern for Senator Larry Taylor, and an intern for De Leon & Washburn, P.C. She returned to De Leon & Washburn, P.C. to work as a law clerk the past two summers, and after graduation, Theresa will join the firm.
