Samantha Kelly
Samantha Kelly is 3L J.D. Candidate graduating in May 2016. She grew up in Boulder, Colorado, and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. She also received a minor in Political Science. Prior to law school, Samantha worked as a Petroleum Landman in several counties across New Mexico and West Texas.
In addition to being an Articles Editor for Texas Tech Law Review, Samantha volunteers for the Civil Justice Initiative, a pro bono service organization managed by Professor Dustin Benham. She also serves as a Research Assistant for Professor Stephen Black. Samantha is interested in many areas of civil practice including water law and oil and gas law, and she is particularly drawn to public policy and governmental affairs.
