Brittany Dumas

Brittany Dumas is a 3L J.D. Candidate graduating in May 2016. She is from Crawford, Texas, a small city near Waco. She received her B.B.A. in Marketing from Tarleton State University in 2012. While attending Tarleton State University, Brittany was a member of the softball team. Currently she is an Articles Editor on the Law Review and is also a member of Phi Delta Phi, Energy Law Interest Group, and Organization of Women Law Students. In addition to her various organizational memberships, she is also pursuing an Energy Law Concentration.

She is currently a law clerk at Field, Manning, Stone, Hawthorne & Aycock P.C. as well as Professor Cochran’s research assistant. As a 2L she clerked at Fergus & Fergus, L.L.P., an oil and gas law firm located in Abilene, Texas. Prior to law school she worked as an intern at Fulbright Winniford, P.C. in Waco, Texas. She is interested in a variety of practice areas including Oil & Gas Law, Real Estate Law, Business Law, and Civil Litigation.
