Tyler DePonte is a third-year law student who will graduate in May 2027. He was raised in Frisco, Texas. Tyler graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
Throughout his 1L summer, Tyler clerked at KRW Lawyers in San Antonio working in personal injury. During his 2L summer, Tyler clerked at Bragalone Olejko Saad in Dallas where he focused on intellectual property litigation. Tyler intends to pursue intellectual property litigation post-graduation.
In addition to serving as the Texas Tech Law Review Symposium Editor, Tyler is an active member in Texas Tech’s the Intellectual Property Student Association.
In his free time, Tyler enjoys traveling, spending time with his family, and assisting startup companies secure their intellectual property.
