Parker James

Parker James is a second-year law student at Texas Tech University School of Law, where he is also pursuing an M.B.A. through the Rawls College of Business. He will graduate in May 2028. Parker is from Allen, Texas, and earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Southern Methodist University in 2025.

Following his first year of law school, Parker worked as a law clerk at Shamoun & Norman, LLP, where he assisted with transactional and civil litigation matters involving corporate governance, business agreements, real estate, and post-judgment proceedings. Parker also clerked for the 429th District Court in Collin County, Texas, where he assisted with legal research and observed a variety of hearings and proceedings.

While at Texas Tech Law, Parker studied abroad in Seville, Spain. In addition to serving as a Volume 59 Staff Member of the Texas Tech Law Review, Parker will represent Texas Tech on the National Negotiations Team.

In his free time, Parker enjoys playing chess, running, traveling, and learning languages.
