Nick Lazzara is a second-year law student at Texas Tech University School of Law, where he is pursuing interests in Oil and Gas litigation, contract drafting, and negotiation. He will graduate in May 2028. Born and raised in Carrollton, Texas, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Trinity University. While at Trinity, he was a four-year member of the baseball team and served twice as team captain.
In addition to serving as a Volume 59 Staff Member, Nick has distinguished himself in advocacy through the Board of Barristers Moot Court, Mock Trial, and Negotiations competitions. He is also a member of the Energy Law Interest Group.
After his first year of law school, Nick served as a Law Clerk for Chartwell Law in Dallas, Texas. Following his second year, he will join Gray Reed’s Dallas Office as a Summer Associate, working in their general litigation practice.
Outside of law school, Nick enjoys golfing, weightlifting, scuba diving, and watching college and professional sports.
