Matthew Amunrud is a 2L J.D. candidate who will graduate in May 2025. Matthew was born and raised in Bozeman, Montana. He graduated summa cum laude from Texas Tech University in 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Minor in Secondary Education.
In addition to serving as a Texas Tech Law Review member, Matthew is a member of the Estate and Property Law Society and enjoyed competing in the 1L Negotiations competition.
Following his 1L year, Matthew interned for Cok Kinzler PLLP in Bozeman, Montana, where he conducted legal research and drafted complaints, letters, and discovery within the civil litigation domain. His primary legal interests include Estate Planning, Tax Law, Water Law, and Agricultural Law.
In his spare time, Matthew enjoys playing basketball and golf, traveling with his wife, hiking, skiing, and camping in the great outdoors of Montana.
