Mary Franklin

Mary Franklin is a 2L J.D. Candidate who will graduate in May 2024. Mary grew up in Lubbock, Texas and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Government and a minor in History.

Prior to law school, Mary worked for the Texas Democratic Party in Austin where she ran a voter assistance hotline.

In addition to Texas Tech Law Review, Mary volunteers with CASA of the South Plains and is a member of the Longhorn Bar Association and the Organization of Women Lawyers.

Following her 1L year, Mary interned for Lee, Reyna, & Gober—an Austin personal injury firm focused on plaintiff claims. Mary’s primary areas of interest include family law, non-profit, and contracts.
