Lauren Taylor

Lauren Taylor is a third-year law student who will graduate in May 2027. She was born and raised in Wichita Falls, Texas. Lauren graduated with highest distinction from the University of Arkansas with a degree in International Studies and a concentration in Peace, Security, and Human Rights. While in Arkansas, Lauren interned with a refugee resettlement organization which motivated her to apply for law school.

In addition to serving as an Article Editor for Volume 59 of Texas Tech Law Review, Lauren is also participating in the Immigration Law Clinic and serving as an Academic Success Fellow.

Following her 2L year, Lauren interned for the Wichita County District Attorney’s Office. There, she gained hands-on experience working with criminal prosecution. Lauren assisted in preparing for trials and conducted legal research for felony and misdemeanor cases. Lauren is dedicated to returning to her hometown to practice law following graduation.
