Lauren Berry is a second-year law student who will graduate in May 2026. Lauren was born and raised in Waco, Texas. Lauren graduated magna cum laude from Texas Tech University in 2023, majoring in agricultural communications and agricultural and applied economics.
In addition to serving as a staff member for Volume 57 of Texas Tech Law Review, Lauren serves as a Contracts Tutor for Professor Brian Shannon. She is a member of the First-Generation Student Committee and National Negotiation Team. She is also a part of Dean’s Ambassadors for the law school.
Following her 1L year, Lauren interned with McCleskey Harriger Brazill and Graf in Lubbock, Texas where she drafted various contracts, deeds, and real property documents. She then interned for Dunham and Jones in Waco, Texas where she reviewed discovery and attended various court proceedings. Lauren’s primary interests include corporate law and civil litigation. In her spare time, Lauren enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with friends.
