Kealie House is a third-year law student who will graduate in May 2025. She was raised in Fairfield, Texas, but considers McGregor, Texas—where her parents now reside—home. Kealie graduated cum laude from Southwestern University in 2021, majoring in Biology with a minor in Health Studies.
In addition to serving as a staff member for Volume 56 of Texas Tech Law Review, Kealie sits on the Student Wellness Advisory Council. She is also a member of the Organization for Women Law Students and the Sports and Entertainment Law Society.
Following her 1L year, Kealie interned for Judge Alan Albright in the Waco Division of the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas. There she drafted various legal documents, conducted legal research, and observed court proceedings. She also interned at a small firm in Weatherford, Texas where she had the opportunity to work on cases involving probates, guardianship, business formation, and more.
In her spare time, Kealie enjoys weightlifting, reading fiction novels, watching various competitive sports, and cooking large meals for her friends and family.
