Joshua Harwood is a student in the Texas Tech University School of Law class of 2028. Joshua grew up around the world as an army brat, but went to junior high and high school in Midland, Texas. After high school, Joshua attended Texas A&M where he studied Industrial Distribution in the College of Engineering. After graduating, Joshua came right back to West Texas to start at Tech Law.
After the first year of law school Joshua split his summer between two federal district court judges: The Honorable Wes Hendrix of the Northern District of Texas in Lubbock and the Honorable David Counts of the Western District of Texas in Midland. He spent the summer researching current legal issues, drafting legal memoranda, and watching court proceedings.
Joshua also serves as the President of the Federalist Society and the Event Coordinator for the Christian Legal Society.
Outside of law school, Joshua enjoys spending time with his lovely wife, Katie, reading novels, cooking, and playing games with friends.
