Jewel Jaksha is a second-year law student at Texas Tech University School of Law, expected to graduate in May 2028. Jewel was born and raised in Austin, Texas. She was homeschooled K-12, then attended Austin Community College to earn her associate degree in music. She graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in general studies from Texas Tech, which she attended both online and through a satellite campus near Austin.
Jewel spent her 1L summer doing a study abroad in Spain and interning for U.S. Magistrate Judge Dustin Howell.
Jewel writes and releases indie music, which she co-produces with her father. She loves reading, being outside, baking, crocheting, and dancing.
