Jesse Castella is a second-year law student set to graduate in May 2026. Born in Staten Island, New York and raised in Frisco, Texas, Jesse graduated from University of Texas at Dallas in 2023, earning a Bachelor of Science in Finance.
During his time in law school, Jesse actively contributes as a Staff Member for Volume 57 of the Texas Tech Law Review. He is also the Treasurer for Raider Bar Association and a Member of both Business Law Association and Investment & Finance Law Association. Jesse has also competed in the Board of Barristers’ 1L Negotiations and Mock Trial competitions and received the Top Oralist Award for his performance in Negotiations.
Jesse was the recipient of the Top Grade Award for his performance in both Civil Procedure and Legal Practice II, as well as the recipient of the Top Brief Award for his Appellate Brief in Legal Practice II.
After his first year in law school, Jesse was hired as a Summer Associate for the Transactional and Tax Law department at Gordon Davis Johnson & Shane P.C. in El Paso, Texas. During his time as a Summer Associate, he worked on numerous asset purchase agreements, IRS protest letters, TAO requests, and CTA compliance reports.
During his free time, Jesse enjoys watching movies, binging TV shows, listening to music, and cheering relentlessly for the New York Rangers.
