Iliana Martinez

Iliana Martinez is a 3L J.D. Candidate who will graduate in May 2024. Iliana was born and raised in Austin, Texas and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Geological Sciences— Hydrogeology and a Certificate in Energy Management. 

In addition to serving as an Articles Editor of Law Review, Iliana is also President of the Energy Law Interest Group, Lead Student Publications Editor for the Journal of the Energy Law Practitioner, and represents Texas Tech as a brief writer in National Moot Court competitions.

During her 2L summer, Iliana clerked for Stafford Moore, PLLC in Dallas, Texas. Iliana’s primary legal interests include corporate litigation and energy, natural resources, and environmental Law. In her spare time, Iliana enjoys reading, binging Netflix shows, and spending time with family and friends.
