Haley Bray

Haley Bray is a 3L J.D. candidate who will graduate in May 2024. Haley grew up in Lubbock, Texas. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts in Government and a minor in Russian Language, where she also played for the Texas Women’s Rugby Team as a flanker.  

In addition to serving as a Comment Editor for Volume 56 of the Texas Tech Law Review, Haley is on a National Moot Court Team, and also serves as the Vice Chair of Appellate Advocacy for Board of Barristers, the Vice President of Finance for the International Law Society, and a research assistant for Professor Sally Henry.  

Following her 2L year, Haley was a Summer Associate at Reed Smith, LLP in Dallas, Texas, where she will be returning full-time after graduation as a New Associate in the Restructuring & Insolvency Group. In her spare time Haley practices both Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and powerlifting, likes to travel, and hang out with her animals—an overweight blue heeler named Noodle, and two cats Soup & Kevin.
