Hailey Kuykendall

Hailey Kuykendall is a second-year law student who will graduate in May 2026. She was born and raised in Brunswick, Georgia, but spent several summers in New Mexico, which spurred her interest in moving to this part of the country. Hailey graduated magna cum laude from the University of Georgia with degrees in Political Science and International Affairs in December 2022.

In addition to serving as a staff member for Volume 57 of Texas Tech Law Review, Hailey is also involved with the Energy Law Interest Group, the Business Law Association, and the Student Recruitment Council. She also competes in the intraschool advocacy competitions at Tech Law.

Following her 1L year, Hailey clerked for the Texas Public Policy Foundation, a think tank devoted to making Texas and America the freest places on Earth. There, she gained hands-on experience working on constitutional and administrative law matters.

In her free time, Hailey enjoys reading, watching movies, attending sporting events, spending time with friends and family, and hoping for another Georgia Bulldogs national championship.
