Fallon Jones is a dynamic and accomplished third-year law student set to graduate in May 2025. Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Fallon is a proud alumna of The University of Texas at Austin, where she majored in Arts Entertainment Technologies with a focus on Coding and Digital Media, graduating in 2022. Her diverse background fuels her passion for the intersection of law, technology, and entertainment.
At Texas Tech University School of Law, Fallon wears many hats. She is the Business Manager for Volume 57 of the Texas Tech Law Review. She has already made her mark in the academic world with a published comment in the University of Denver Sports & Entertainment Law Journal. Her peers elected her as the 3L President of the Student Bar Association, and she also serves as a Torts Tutor for Professor Jarod Gonzales. Fallon’s leadership extends beyond campus as she sits on the Regional Board of Directors for the Southwest Black Law Students Association (SWBLSA), serving as the Chief of Staff. As part of the Student Recruitment Team, Fallon actively contributes to shaping the future of her law school.
After her 2L year, Fallon gained valuable experience as a summer associate at Greenberg Traurig in their Atlanta office. She will return to the firm as an associate after passing the Bar, ready to embark on her legal career. Her summer was packed with hands-on experience at Amazon’s headquarters in Seattle, where she explored the world of in-house counsel. During her summer, she tackled various complex issues in business litigation, labor and employment, intellectual property, cybersecurity, and music licensing.
Fallon’s primary interests lie in entertainment, corporate, and intellectual property law, where she aims to make a significant impact. Beyond her academic and professional pursuits, Fallon enjoys working out, creating music, and traveling the world, embracing new cultures and experiences at every turn.
