Eva Lynch is a 3L J.D. candidate who will graduate in May 2025. Eva was born and raised in Austin, Texas. She graduated from the Honors Program at The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. in 2022 with a degree in Psychology and minors in Politics Pre-law, Spanish, and Rhetoric & Writing.
In addition to serving as a Texas Tech Law Review Staff Writer, Eva is a member of Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society and the Hispanic Law Students Association. Eva is also deeply involved in pro bono work at TTU Law, primarily through Bridges to Life Prison Ministry.
Following her 1L year, Eva interned at the Offices of the Federal Public Defender in Fort Worth, Texas, where she drafted sentencing memoranda and legal objections, met with clients to discuss strategy in their cases, and observed argument and trial in federal district courts. Eva’s primary legal interests include criminal defense, constitutional law, and education law. In her spare time, Eva enjoys hiking and traveling with family, seeing as much live music as she can, and playing trivia with friends.
