Diana Hernandez

Diana Hernandez is a 3L J.D. candidate who will graduate in May 2024. Diana grew up in El Paso, Texas. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts in both History and Ancient History and Classical Civilizations. She also served as the president of Eta Sigma Phi’s Gamma Sigma Chapter, an honorary society for classical studies. 

Prior to law school, Diana worked as a Public Safety Communicator (911 dispatcher) for the City of El Paso, Texas, where she was both a law enforcement dispatcher and National Crime Information Center/Texas Crime Information Center operator for over two years. 

In addition to serving as an Articles Editor for Texas Tech Law Review, Diana is also the Magister of Phi Delta Phi’s Warren Inn. After graduation, Diana plans to return to El Paso as an Associate Attorney at Kemp Smith LLP. When she’s not studying for the bar, Diana enjoys reading books, listening to podcasts, spin class, and taking long walks with her dog, Bella.
