Bailey King is a 3L J.D. candidate who will graduate in May 2025. Bailey was born and raised in San Angelo, Texas. She graduated from Angelo State University in 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Communication with High University Honors.
In addition to serving as a Comment Editor for Volume 57 of Texas Tech Law Review, Bailey also serves as a Dean’s Ambassador, as well as a member of the Organization for Women Law Students and the Student Recruitment Council. In 2023-2024, Bailey was a part of a national qualifying team for the American Bar Association Arbitration Competition.
Bailey is interested in pursuing a career in civil litigation. She has experience on both sides of the bench, clerking for the 72nd District Court of Texas, as well as working for the Lubbock City Attorney, Baron & Budd, and Jackson Walker LLP. Following law school, Bailey will return to Jackson Walker in Fort Worth as an associate.
Outside of law school, Bailey enjoys traveling, watching Formula 1, attending country concerts, and spending time with family & friends.
