Austin Heinisch
Austin Heinisch is a third-year J.D. Candidate who will graduate in May 2024. Austin grew up in Shawnee, Kansas and graduated from the University of Arkansas, in 2021, where he majored in Finance, with minors in both Political Science and International Development.
In addition to serving as the Senior Articles Editor for Volume 56 of Texas Tech Law Review, Austin is a member of the Board of Barristers, works as a research assistant for Dr. Brie Sherwin, is a Dean’s Ambassador., and is a student tour guide.
During his 1L summer, Austin took part in the Blackstone Legal Fellowship in Virginia as well as interning for the Ashcroft Sutton Reyes Law Firm in Austin, Texas. During his 2L summer, Austin was a summer associate at the Snell & Wilmer law firm in Phoenix, Arizona. Austin’s primary areas of interest include bankruptcy law, real estate law, and commercial litigation. Austin enjoys working out, watching sports, and golfing.
