Abby Dye is a J.D. candidate who will graduate in May 2025. Abby is originally from Farwell, Texas but has lived in Lubbock since 2012 when she began her undergraduate education at Lubbock Christian University (LCU). She graduated from LCU in May 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Design.
After graduation, Abby worked as a Physician Recruiter for the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and completed a Master of Arts in Strategic Communications and Innovation from Texas Tech University in December 2018.
In 2018, Abby began working at the City of Lubbock as the Assistant to the Mayor and worked with Mayor Dan Pope and the Lubbock City Council for nearly four years before attending Texas Tech School of Law.
Abby has a son, Ford, and has been married to her wonderful husband, Trey, since 2017. As a family they try to spend as much time as possible playing outside, walking their dog, Maverick, volunteering at their church, and enjoying events and new restaurants in town. The Lubbock community is important to Abby, and she plans to practice here after graduation.
