Patrick Chippendale

Patrick Chippendale is a second-year law student, expected to graduate in May 2027. He was raised in Fort Worth, Texas, and earned his B.B.A. in both Marketing and Management from Texas Tech University, graduating summa cum laude.
 
In addition to serving as a staff member for Volume 58 of the Texas Tech Law Review, Patrick is a competitor on Tech Law’s Best in Texas Voir Dire team. During his 1L year, he also competed in the Board of Barristers Competitions for negotiations, mock trial, and moot court, being recognized as the overall top oralist for mock trial.
 
Following his 1L year, Patrick spent his summer clerking at Vartabedian, Hester & Haynes in Fort Worth. There, he conducted legal research and did extensive work on federal and state cases, with a focus on oil and gas, bankruptcy, and complex commercial litigation matters. 
 
Patrick is engaged to his wonderful fiancée, who also attends Tech Law. In his free time, he enjoys playing pickleball, watching college football, playing the bass, and spending time with his friends.
