Margaret Ensminger

Margaret Ensminger is a J.D. candidate who will graduate in May 2027. Margaret is a proud Texan, born and raised in Dallas. She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School, where she successfully completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma program. Margaret first completed her associate degree at Dallas College before transferring to Texas Tech University. Margaret graduated from Texas Tech University in December 2023 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and a Minor in Legal Studies.

 

In addition to serving as a staff member for Volume 58 of Texas Tech Law Review, Margaret is a tutor for 1L contracts. She is also involved in the Agricultural Law Society, Christian Legal Society, Estate and Property Law Society, Organization for Women Law Students, and the Student Recruitment Council.

During her 1L summer, Margaret interned at the Court of Appeals for the Fifth District of Texas, where she learned about the inner workings of the appellate process. Margaret is passionate about the civil legal needs of both individuals and small businesses. Upon graduation, Margaret wants to remain in West Texas and serve its rural communities.

In her free time, Margaret trains as an aerialist, hikes, and bakes sourdough. Margaret is often accompanied by her two dogs, Alice and Flynn Rider.
