Lauren Taylor is a second-year law student who will graduate in May 2027. She was born and raised in Wichita Falls, Texas. Lauren graduated with highest distinction from the University of Arkansas with a degree in International Studies and a concentration in Peace, Security, and Human Rights. While in Arkansas, Lauren interned with a refugee resettlement organization which motivated her to apply for law school.
In addition to serving as a staff member for Volume 58 of Texas Tech Law Review, Lauren is also Secretary of the Organization of Women Law Students and an Academic Success Fellow.
Following her 1L year, Lauren interned for the Wichita County District Attorney’s Office. There, she gained hands-on experience working with criminal prosecution. Lauren assisted in preparing for trials and conducted legal research for felony and misdemeanor cases. Lauren is dedicated to returning to her hometown to practice law following graduation.
In her free time, Lauren enjoys reading, cooking, baking, watching YouTube and football (Woo Pig!), and spending time with her family.
