Micah Stephens is a third-year J.D. candidate who will graduate in May 2026. Micah grew up in Lubbock, Texas, and she loved the city so much she continued her education at Texas Tech University. She graduated in 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Political Science specializing in Literature and Language.
In addition to serving as a Texas Tech Law Review Article Editor, Micah is a Legal Practice Teaching Fellow for Dr. Brie Sherwin where she grades and teaches other students about citations.
Previously, Micah interned for the Honorable Judge Hatch of the 237th District and clerked this past summer at Glasheen, Valles, & Inderman. In both positions she honed her skills in civil litigation. Currently, Micah works for Boerner, Dennis, & Franklin, PLLC focusing on commercial litigation and other civil issues. The Lubbock community has shaped Micah as an individual, and she plans to stay here after graduation to continue to foster the relationships she has made in Lubbock.
Micah has a four-year-old son, Nolan, and spends most of her time with him. Along with spending time with her friends and family, Micah enjoys reading, crafting, and exercising.
