David Russell

David Russell is a third-year law student who will graduate in 2026. He is from Bushland, Texas. David graduated top of his class from Wayland Baptist University with a degree in English and minors in history and Spanish. He was also a member of the Wayland Baptist men’s soccer team.

In addition to serving as a comment editor for the Law Review, David is the President of the Christian Legal Society and a member of the Federalist Society.

After graduation, David will serve as a judicial law clerk for U.S. Chief District Judge Terry A. Doughty of the United States District Court for the Western District of Louisiana.

In his free time, David enjoys officiating basketball games, exercising, and cheering on his favorite teams like Red Raider football and basketball, the Dallas Cowboys, and Manchester United.
