The Texas Tech Law Review and the Center for Water Law and Policy are proud to host the Water Law Symposium on February 27, 2026, in Texas Tech’s Law School’s Lanier Auditorium from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm.
Water is a critical natural resource that affects every facet of our lives including agriculture, urban development, and power production. West Texas serves as a microcosm for water issues occurring across Texas and the American West. This year’s Symposium will feature experts, practitioners, and academics discussing legal and policy issues related to data centers, water reuse and other supply alternatives, and technology alternatives for agricultural irrigation.
The symposium will be offered in-person or online and registration cost is $100. In-person attendees will be provided breakfast, lunch, and snacks. Attendees across formats will receive presentation materials and are eligible to receive Texas CLE Credit.
