Alexandra (Alex) Blair is a Texas Tech School of Law Juris Doctorate Candidate. She will graduate in May of 2025. Alex grew up in La Junta, Colorado, but moved to Lubbock, Texas in 2018 to attend Texas Tech University. In 2021, she graduated from Texas Tech with a degree in Marketing.
During her 3L year, Alex will assume the role of Online Edition Editor for the Volume 57 edition of the Texas Tech Law Review. In addition, she will serve as a student attorney for the Texas Tech Innocence Clinical Program. Alex also participates in various national mock trial competitions and is the Vice President for the Criminal Law Association.
Upon graduation, Alex looks forward to pursuing a career in criminal law. She has had experience working in both prosecution and defense, interning at the Lubbock Federal Public Defender’s and the Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney’s offices. Following law school, Alex will return to the Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney’s Office in Fort Worth as a post-bar intern and employee.
Outside of law school, Alex enjoys spending time with her friends and family, cooking, and playing with her dog, Shadow.
