Madyson Edwards

Madyson Edwards is a third-year law student who will graduate in May 2024. She was born and raised in Canyon, Texas. Madyson graduated from Texas A&M University in 2020 with degrees in Psychology and Spanish. Prior to law school, Madyson worked as the intake specialist for Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas in Amarillo, Texas. 

In addition to serving as Online Edition Editor for Volume 56 of the Texas Tech Law Review, Madyson is a student attorney in the Innocence Clinic, a member of Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society, and a Dean’s Ambassador. Further, her Article, Children Are Making It Big (For Everyone Else): The Need For Child Labor Laws Protecting Child Influencers, will be published in an upcoming edition of the UCLA Entertainment Law Review

Following her 2L year, Madyson participated in the Summer Associate Programs at Sprouse Shrader Smith in Amarillo, Texas and Davis, Gerald & Cremer in Midland, Texas. She worked in an array of practice groups but spent much of her summer familiarizing herself with various transactional matters. Following graduation, Madyson will return to Sprouse Shrader Smith’s Amarillo office to begin her career as an associate attorney in the Wealth Management practice group.

In her spare time, Madyson enjoys playing with Millie (her beloved bernedoodle), gardening, visiting local coffee shops, and going to happy hours with friends.
