Grant Biggs

Grant Biggs is a 2L J.D. candidate set to graduate in May 2023. Grant grew up in San Antonio and graduated from the University of Texas in Austin with a B.A. in Advertising.

Grant will be a Board of Barristers member in the fall where he will compete in Mock Trial and Moot Court. He is also a member of Phi Delta Phi. Over the summer following his 1L year, Grant interned with a San Antonio firm and familiarized himself with the fast-paced environment surrounding commercial litigation. In addition to writing motions, memos, and briefs on short notice, Grant revised transactional agreements and conceptualized provisions for evolving negotiations. For the latter half of the summer, Grant interned with Judge Martin Hoffman of the 68th District Court of Dallas, where he observed bench and jury trials and wrote a substantive memo recommending partial summary judgment over claims arising from a multimillion-dollar transaction.

Grant is interested in commercial litigation, real estate litigation, and product liability. In his spare time, Grant enjoys long-distance running, lifting weights, playing guitar, practicing Spanish, and playing with his puppy.
