Braden Anderson

Braden Anderson is a 3L J.D. candidate who will graduate in May 2023. Braden grew up in Colleyville, Texas, and graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2019.

In addition to serving as a Comment Editor for the Texas Tech Law Review, Braden is the acting Vice President of Finance on SBA’s Executive Board, a Dean’s Ambassador, Student Recruitment Councilor, Diversity Advisory Board member, Board of Barristers Special Events Coordinator, and returning 1L Contracts Tutor for Professor William Casto. Additionally, Braden’s student Article, “Mining the Milky Way: How to Bring America’s Extraterrestrial Excursions Back into Compliance with International Obligations,” will be published in SMU’s Journal of Air Law and Commerce in the fall of 2022.

Following graduation, and completion of the bar exam, Braden will join the chambers of the Honorable James R. Nowlin as a judicial clerk in the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas. In his spare time, Braden enjoys physical exercise, socializing with friends, and outdoor activities like running, hiking, and paddleboarding.
