Tyler Roberts is third-year law student who will graduate in May 2024. Raised in Del Rio, Texas, Tyler graduated from Texas A&M University in 2018 with two bachelor’s degrees: Animal Science and Agricultural Communications & Journalism.
Prior to law school, Tyler worked in the Texas Legislature in Austin, Texas. In addition to serving as a Texas House of Representatives Committee Clerk, she worked for Texas Senator Pete Flores where she worked on water, agricultural, and finance issues. Tyler is also heavily involved in the ranching and meat industries.
In addition to serving as the Symposium Editor for Volume 56 of Texas Tech Law Review, Tyler is a student attorney in the Civil Practice Clinic, a Research Assistant for Professor Dustin Benham, and the Head Student Ambassador for Barbri.
During her 2L year, Tyler participated in the Advanced Alternative Dispute Resolution Clinic where she became a Mediator under the Texas Civil Practice & Remedies Code. Further, her law review article, “Pore Texas: Defining the Ownership of Underground Pore Space for Carbon Capture and Sequestration in Texas,” will be published in an upcoming edition of the Texas Journal of Oil, Gas, and Energy Law.
Following her 2L year, Tyler clerked for Uhl, Fitzsimons, Burton, Wollf & Rangel, PLLC in San Antonio, Texas, where she worked in an array of practice groups including eminent domain, oil and gas, and renewable energy. Following graduation, Tyler will return to Uhl, Fitzsimons, Burton, Wolff & Rangel, PLLC to begin her career as an associate attorney.
In her spare time, Tyler enjoys playing with Rusty and Roger (her beloved beagles), traveling, being outdoors, and spending time with her family and friends.
