Scott Keffer

Scott Keffer is a J.D. candidate graduating in May 2020. Scott was born and raised in Dallas, Texas and graduated from Lake Highlands High School. He then attended the University of Missouri-Columbia where he graduated with honors and a Bachelor of Arts in English and History.

During his post-1L summer, Scott interned for Justice Phil Johnson at the Supreme Court of Texas and also for Magistrate Judge D. Gordon Bryant, Jr. at the Lubbock Division of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas. For his post-2L summer, Scott interned at Cannon Air Force Base to experience military law with the JAG Corps. In addition to serving as an Articles Editor for the Texas Tech Law Review, Scott is a student-attorney for the Texas Tech Innocence Clinic and a Legal Practice Teaching Fellow for Professor Brie Sherwin. Scott is interested in a variety of practice areas, especially those that must adapt to innovative technologies.
