Stephen W. Grant

_MG_1631Stephen is a 2L J.D. candidate graduating in May 2019. Stephen grew up behind the Pine Curtain of East Texas in Athens and is a graduate of Athens High School. After earning his diploma, Stephen graduated from the University of Texas at Austin where he received a Bachelor of Science in Communications Studies and minored in the Texas Business Foundations program. Stephen’s legal interests include civil litigation, water law, and property tax law.

In addition to being a Staff Member for Volume 50 of the Texas Tech Law Review, Stephen serves as a Teaching Fellow for Professor Brie Sherwin and is the Vice President of the Class of 2019. Stephen is also a member of two Texas Tech National Moot Court teams. Stephen’s experience includes clerking for the Austin-based property tax firm Popp-Hutcheson, PLLC. He also had the fortune to work as a clerk for the illustrious attorney Broadus Spivey in Austin, Texas prior to attending law school.
