Shelby Broaddus is a J.D. candidate graduating in May 2018. Shelby was born and raised in El Paso, Texas, and attended the University of Texas at Austin as an undergraduate. While at the University of Texas, Shelby earned her degrees in Psychology and Government and served as a research assistant in the Adolescent Development Research Lab.
In addition to being a Comment Editor for the Texas Tech Law Review, Shelby is a Student Attorney in the Civil Practice Clinic. During the summer of 2016, Shelby served as an intern at the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas for the Honorable Anne T. Berton. This last summer, Shelby clerked with Thompson Coe in Dallas and Mounce, Green, Myers, Safi, Paxon & Galatzan in El Paso.
