Jordan Treuter is a 2L J.D. candidate graduating in May 2019. Jordan grew up in Austin, Texas where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Bachelor of Journalism at the University of Texas in 2011. Prior to law school, he worked as a regional director for a missions agency focusing on long term partnership development and programs development with groups throughout the United States.
During his first year of law school, Jordan competed in intra-school advocacy competitions where he earned overall top oralist in negotiations and moot court. Additionally, he won the 1L moot court competition. As a 2L, in addition to Law Review, Jordan will tutor for Civil Procedure, compete on two traveling moot court teams as an oral advocate, including the Blakely Advocacy National Championship, and take courses focusing on Law and Energy. He spent his summer clerking for Justice Rodriguez at the 13th District Court of Appeals. In his free time, Jordan enjoys longhorn sports, golf, cooking, and reading.
