Joelle N. Gonzales is a 2L J.D. candidate graduating in May 2019. In 2010, Joelle earned a Bachelors of Arts in Criminal Justice with a minor in Security and Technological Studies from New Mexico State University. In 2013, Joelle received an Associates in Paralegal Studies.
Prior to law school, Joelle worked as a paralegal in Las Cruces, New Mexico, and has practiced in both state and federal court. As a paralegal, she practiced probate law, commercial law, property law, business law, employment law, personal injury law, and landlord-tenant law. Joelle assisted the attorneys in conducting depositions and mediations, as well as aiding in preparation for hearings and trial.
In addition to being a Staff Member for the Texas Tech Law Review, Joelle is a tutor for William Casto’s Contracts course, and is employed by Gene Walters Law Offices as a law clerk in criminal defense.
