Jessica Robertson is a 3L J.D. candidate graduating in May 2018. She is from Porter, Texas about 35 miles north of Houston. Jessica attended the University of Houston as a member of the Honors College and participated in a study abroad trip to both France and Spain. She also served as an executive of a local nonprofit organization and as a competitive cheer and tumbling coach throughout her time as an undergraduate.
In addition to being an Articles Editor on Texas Tech Law Review, Jessica currently works at Stewart Title Company of Lubbock as a Title Examiner and continues to expand her legal education with chain of title issues regarding mineral interests, probates, and divorces. She also acts as a research assistant to Professor Vaughn James on his book, Texas Elder Law. Jessica has previously clerked for the Honorable Judge Cara Wood, a Tech alumna, and for Field, Manning, Stone, Hawthorne, and Aycock in Lubbock. Further, she has also acted as a Civil Procedure tutor for Professor Bryan Camp and is a member of various organizations at Tech Law.
