Ernesto is a 3L J.D. candidate and anticipates graduating in May 2018. Ernesto grew up in Mission, Texas, and obtained his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Texas Pan-American in 2014.
In addition to serving as an Articles Editor for the Texas Tech Law Review, Ernesto works as a Research Assistant for Professor Gerry W. Beyer, and as a LexisNexis Student Representative.
Most recently, Ernesto spent his summer working issues and appeals as a summer clerk at the Lanier Law Firm. Ernesto’s experience includes working as a law clerk at the City Attorney’s Office in McAllen, Texas, and for attorney Austin Carrizales, in Lubbock, Texas.
Ernesto hopes to return to the Rio Grande Valley or the San Antonio region after graduation. His legal interests include the fields of personal injury law, real estate law, and finance law.
