Frances Tubb is a 3L J.D. candidate graduating in May of 2017. She grew up in Dallas, Texas. Frances earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology and Spanish from Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi. Currently, Frances serves as the Symposium Editor for the Texas Tech Law Review and as the Secretary for the International Law Society. She is a member of the Organization of Women Law Students, Delta Theta Phi, and Phi Delta Phi. She tutors for Professor Shannon’s property course.
Prior to arriving at Texas Tech School of Law, Frances spent a year interning with a scholarship program for rural youth in Yucatan, Mexico. Frances interned with Judge Roberto Cañas of Dallas County Criminal Court Number 10 and the Dallas County Public Defender’s Office.
